The blanket has a story o...I loved that post, too. The blanket has a story of its own...when Grandma Purple died, we wanted to move Grandpa Red back to Costa Mesa from Sun City (the one just past Lake Elsinore) so he wouldn't be so alone. That meant packing up, selling and donating a TON of stuff from their house. So I went down and spent a few days sorting and disposing of all the stuff they had accumulated over the years. When I opened a linen closet I found a box, lined with tissue, containing this blanket. Needless to say, I brought it home and kept it in MY linen closet until we knew Molly was on her way. I wrapped it up, wrote a card, and presented it to Sara at her baby shower. We were ALL overcome at her reaction, and it's been a favorite since we started using it. I'm so glad that I was the one who found it stored away; who KNOWS what would have become of it otherwise?Nana Janetnoreply@blogger.com
